In this study, women who consumed less than the Australian recommended amount of red meat (beef and lamb) suffered more depression. In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) beef and lamb are two of the "hotter" meats, so this creates more energy. And the article does point out that Australian beef and lamb tend to be grass-fed so they're Omega 3 rich. Or could it be the iron?
